Attention All Incoming Freshmen!

"At freshman orientation FCCLA told me about how I can help in the community and help others. It also told me about how fun it can be participating with other people and how you can have a good time together."
-Jenna Buzzanga (Class of 2025)
Every year at freshman orientation our chapter will have a booth set up where we are able to inform you about our FCCLA chapter and why you would be a great attribute to our program.

We will have a tri-fold set up that includes all the information you need to know about our chapter, information pamphlets, and membership forms. Our chapter hopes to see you at the FCCLA booth in the Fall of 2025!

We love getting the opportunity to recruit new members into our chapter! Along with that, our chapter is in contact with the Knob Noster Middle School chapter advisor in order to assure you a smooth transition between the two chapters. Even if you were previously already apart of the FCCLA chapter at KNMS, we ask for you to please fill out a new membership form in order for our chapter to get to know you better.

If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact the KNMS FCCLA advisor, Ms. Carpenter, @
[email protected]. You are also welcomed to contact our chapter advisor, Mrs. Hollrah,  @[email protected].  We can't wait to meet you and for you to be apart of our FCCLA chapter!

Attention all KNHS students!

Welcome to
Mrs. Hollrah's room!

At the beginning of each school year during Get Set Day, which takes place the week before school begins, our chapter will be at the school to give you the opportunity to learn about FCCLA and join our chapter.  Our chapter will have a booth set up where we can inform you about our FCCLA chapter and why you would be a great attribute to it. At the booth, our chapter will have a tri-fold set up that includes all the information you need to know about our chapter, information pamphlets, and membership forms. Our chapter hopes to see you at the FCCLA booth in the Fall of 2025!

Our chapter is always looking for new members, even if it is not necessarily at the beginning of the school year. Our chapter is open to all new members and we understand that not everyone is able to join our chapter at the beginning of the school year. If you are a KNHS student that has currently transferred to our school district or a KNHS student that has been here, but would now like to in the middle of the school year, we welcome you to do so. To join, please download the membership form to your computer and print it off or you can pick one up from Mrs. Hollrah's room. Once you have done one of the two, please fill out the information and turn it into Mrs. Hollrah.

Dues

Every year each FCCLA member is required to pay the dues amount of $20  by the National Deadline in order to be a part of our chapter. The reason for paying dues is that by paying the dues to the National FCCLA organization, your chapter will become an official chapter. Becoming an official chapter will allow your chapter to free access to all the FCCLA resources, member eligibility to run for any district, state or national leadership position, member eligibility to compete in any competitive event, member qualification for FCCLA scholarships, advisor eligibility to attend professional development events and meetings and chapter eligibility to vote on district, state and national issues that affect them and win awards for accomplishments. If you would like to join our FCCLA chapter, but have a concern about the dues, please contact our advisor Mrs. Hollrah in order to find a solution to your concern.

Do you want the chance to win free dues?
If you fill out your membership form and pay your dues the day of Get Set Day or Freshman Orientation, you will be put into a drawing to get your money that you paid for dues back!

As a chapter, we greatly appreciate the activeness and participation within our organization from our members. In order to show our appreciation of this, our chapter rewards our members by taking fun trips to a variety of places such as  Crown Center and Silver Dollar City. Not only does this repay our members of their hard work in FCCLA, but it also incorporates team building and helps to gain membership within our chapter.

FCCLA May Spotlight

Our chapter understands the importance of membership recognition and does so by recognizing a different member each month for their outstanding positive contribution to KNHS FCCLA chapter. Recognizing our members provides them with the recognition they deserve and encourages the member to keep up the hard work that they are putting forth into the organization.

 January, the outstanding member is...
Lyric Titus

Picture
Lyric is the KNHS FCCLA spot light for the month of January because of her outstanding performance and contribution to the REACH Prom. Her passion for the special education program has lead our chapter to continue our annual Prom.  Lyric is taking the lead on preparing and planning a "Somewhere Over the Stars" prom for the students of the KNHS special education program in March or April of 2025. Students like Lyric who are willing to take on these leadership roles are making the positive change that Knob Noster high school needs. Our chapter is proud to have her represent us as members of our FCCLA organization.
