Why is FCCLA and FCS essential for all students?
The world is constantly evolving today into something that is bigger and better than the last. By participating in FCCLA you can be a part of that change. In this organization you will be able to connect the things that you learn in the classroom to the things in your choice of career. This organization will  help you develop career skills that will be beneficial for the rest of your life and all of the careers within it. 

Not only does this organization develop career skills, but it also allows you to develop skills that will help you at home. One thing that is not changing in our world today is the need for the ability to provide a strong home and family life.  Within this organization you will learn skills that are necessary for a strong home foundation such as child care, sewing, cooking, and other basic life skills that are needed by everyone.

Along with learning career and home skills, you will gain attributes that will change your life for the better. These attributes include confidence, leadership, accountability, communication, integrity, and much more beyond those. These attributes that you will gain will grow through the opportunities and learning experiences that this organization and our chapter provides for each one of its members. 

Every single piece of knowledge or attributes that FCCLA provides for each student is essential for students to have in order to grow into the leaders that our world needs.
